Activities
Kindred Women Together provides small group activities in a safe space where you are
encouraged and supported by passionate and caring instructors. Our activities are for women only.
To be notified of our upcoming activities, subscribe to the newsletter
and follow Kindred Women Together on social media. Scroll down for current activities.
Some of the activities we hold regularly include:
> Art/Painting Workshops > Vocal Workshops
> Creative Writing Workshops > Golf Clinics
> Tarot Reading Workshops > Tai Chi Meditation
> Surfing Clinics > Fitness Classes > Walking Group
In addition to the instructor led programs, Janice hosts a monthly tea party for women to come along and meet other women in a casual, intimate setting. This is perfect for any woman, new or old to the area, who just wants some easy social connection with other women without committing to an activity.
See below for upcoming dates.

Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a gentle martial art practice taught by our qualified instructor, Chris Collins.
We meet every Monday and Thursday to practice our Tai Chi meditation and then we usually head up to Heritage House for morning tea together.
Please join us on Monday at 11am and Thursday at 10am at the Gazebo at the Bangalow Weir.
Cost is $15 cash. Please wear flat shoes and bring your water bottle.
Walking Group
Our Monday morning walking group meets at the A&I Hall every Monday at 7.30am. Lauren Julian leads the walk around different parts of Bangalow each week.
The walk usually takes about an hour and the women may then stay for a coffee at Woods Cafe afterwards.
There is no regular commitment required, just turn up on the day. If you would like to speak to Lauren directly, her number is 0438 183 258.

Testimonial
The INClub is all about meeting other women in our local community for fun, friendship and kinship.
An initiative of Janice Maple which has succeeded to do just that. In fact, during the recent
pandemic, women of Bangalow continued to connect through online courses using technology and
social distancing morning teas to move through this hiccup. Connection provides a sense of well being and is true yoga, Deepak Chopra reminds us. That’s what the INClub does so well.
The INClub gave me wining, dining and laughing (something I do very well!) and I attended the most
brilliant singing course which brought out my voice to dance!
Besides this, I have made and met some lovely people whom I now call friends.
