Activities

KWT Byron Shire, provides small group activities in a safe space where you are encouraged and supported by passionate and caring instructors and welcomed by other women in the community.

To be notified of our upcoming activities, subscribe to the newsletter and

follow Kindred Women Together on social media.

For details on any of the KWT activities or if you would like to co-ordinate an activity,

please email Julia at hello@kindredwomentogether.com.

KWT hosts monthly morning teas and evening gatherings for women to come along and meet other women in a casual, intimate setting. The morning teas are held at women's homes within the community. The evening gatherings are held at the Bangalow Hotel. These events are perfect for any woman, new or old to the area, who just want some easy social connection with other women without committing to an activity.

Some of the activities we have held in the past include:

> Art/Painting Workshops                                         > Tai Chi Meditation

> Vocal Workshops                                                   > Surfing Clinics

> Creative Writing Workshops                                  > Fitness Classes

> Golf Clinics                                                            > Walking Group                                  > Tarot Reading Workshops                                     > Book Club

Testimonial

The INClub is all about meeting other women in our local community for fun, friendship and kinship.
An initiative of Janice Maple which has succeeded to do just that. In fact, during the recent
pandemic, women of Bangalow continued to connect through online courses using technology and
social distancing morning teas to move through this hiccup.  Connection provides a sense of well being and is true yoga, Deepak Chopra reminds us. That’s what the INClub does so well.
The INClub gave me wining, dining and laughing (something I do very well!) and I attended the most
brilliant singing course which brought out my voice to dance!
Besides this, I have made and met some lovely people whom I now call friends.
